Weddings are meant to be one the happiest time in a couple's life. It is where two souls start on their journey to become united as one. Above all the others out in this vast world, the person they marry is the one they wish to spend the rest of eternity with, something they should always think about before they do so. Before making the final commitment, they should learn if this is a person that they want to know them? Do I want this person to eventually learn some of my deepest, darkest, and most private secrets of my life? Do I want to learn theirs? If I can see the worst they have to offer, and still love them for who they are, then let's go. If not...
"Hey, easy, my man! You look like you just had your guts knocked out of you. Actually, I think that that's an improvement!"
"Stop laughing, Guy! This isn't funny! I've wanted to marry Jessica for so long, but with all the BS that's occurred over the past few years, it's been all but impossible to get the chance. First, it was the Mad Gear. Then, they resurfaced. Later, it was the Skull Cross. Me, I guess in a way, I didn't want it to end. I enjoyed knocking the crud outa those thugs. I did get carried away, I guess. Then, after my--incident--I's glad we could still see eye-to-eye. Then, there was that deadly `save the world' tournament. I'm glad it's over!"
Guy was going to remark "evil never rests," but didn't want to spoil the night of his best friend's wedding.
"Hey, guys, sorry I'm late! It's just that I got side-tracked with an old friend of yours!"
"Hey, Carols! It's good to see you, man. Who? Ah, you came too, Dean?"
"Yes, I felt like..."
"There's nothing to say Dean! You proved to me that you are a worthy man. I'm glad you could attend my daughter's wedding, as well as my future son-in-law's."
"...Thank you, Mayor Haggar."
"There's no need for the to be formal. Call me Mike! Oh, and Cody, my boy, something I want to let you know."
"Yes, sir?"
"My baby's the world to me. I want her to be happy. If she isn't, you'll hear from ME!" and they all exploded with laughter.
Meanwhile, seemingly in a different world, was the blushing bride, Jessica. She was also having pre-jibberies. She felt like she wanted to die and get it over with.
"Take it easy, Jessica. You're making me nervous, and my wedding isn't for a few more months!"
"Huh? I'm sorry Rena. I'm just so nervous. I don't know. Maybe I'm still worried about Cody."
"Don't worry. Guy and your dad have really helped him. He still wants a good fight, but he's not as obsessed. It's some macho guy thing."
"Well...I guess you're right. Cody and I have known each other for a long time. I'm sure we'll do great."
"You know you will girl. Just let me know how he is! How long are you going to wait?" she said with a girlish laugh.
"I won't tell you now! Don't worry, you'll be the first to know!"
"Hey, what about me?"
"Maki? Oh, well, if you're around, then you'll hear too!"
"You'll hear what?" asked Lucia, who had come rather late, having to even get Haggar to request that she get time-off so she could attend.
"Oh, nothing much, Lucia. Jessica and Rena were just talking about the things that a man and woman do when married," replied Maki.
Just then, an explosion from the outter wall ripped into the room. Maki and Lucia got in front of their two friends, ready to fight off whatever it was that had come. In came a small group of guys. Some were Mad Gear Gang members, while others were of the Skull Cross. A few others were unknown to them. However, all of them were sorry, for Maki and Lucia had little trouble in taking them down. Lucia took them out with some fire kicks, followed by a fury of kicks, ending with her rising spin-air-fire combo. Maki spun through the air, air leveled some guys with a frankenstiener. She then leapt into the air, and began bouncing off the walls, knocking the losers out.
"Hey, where'd you learn that stuff?" Lucia asked.
"I did a little trainning with Cammy."
They then heard an applause from behind the rubble. There, stood Sodom and Rolent. Rolent quickly took Maki off her feet with several hits from his stick. Sodom took Lucia down with a hard double slam. They then grabbed the two remaining girls.
"What the Hell's going on!" Cody demanded before stopping dead in his tracks. He was soon followed by the rest.
"You guys are getting slow. Here, catch. Good one, Carlos. This is for Guy and Cody only. If any one else comes, these two beauties die!"
With that, Rolent followed Sodom up the ladder to the chopper, but not before dropping another grenade to prevent them from following.
"Guy! What is it?"
"There's another Street Fighter Tournament. Only those who had competed in previous ones are allowed to enter."
"You two must go then. Bring back my daughter to me, and bring back Rena."
"Something evil is about to happen," Dean said coldly.
"You took the words out of my mouth," concluded Carlos.
"Why did they have to do this to us again?"
"...I don't know, Cody! I don't know," ended Guy, gloomily.
